Oscar Lee Bowerman (Lee) passed away October 30, 2021
He was 78 years old. He lived in Grand Junction, Co. Born in San Diego, CA. on Feb. 20, 1943 to Delbert and Daisy (Dennison) Bowerman.
Lee was a wonderful person that deeply loved his family and friends. He was a very talented artist, writer and an entertaining character. Everyone that was blessed to be part of his life knew and loved him. He was witty, telling captivating stories of his life and a generous, giving heart and soul. A truly inspiring man.
He lived in Denver, Chicago, Naturita and Grand Junction. He served our country in Germany in the Army, and we thank him for his service. He created many paintings and drawings, but he loved painting murals he did on buildings or commissioned in people1s homes in Grand Junction and on the Western Slope.
The VA Hospital have over 30 that he created!
He is survived by his wife Carol Bowerman, son- Paul (Shannon) Bowerman, daughters- April (Arnie) Teves and Leah (Jay) Gonyeau, Step-son- Bob (Brenda Sullivan) Puckett. His siblings- Patty (Roy) Urch, Tedi (Jim) Coe, Russell Caviness, Terry (Sandra) Caviness, Louise (Jack), along with his many nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
He was proceeded in death by his mother- Daisy, father- Delbert, sister- Thelma, and brothers- Bill and Danny.

A Celebration of Life will be held in the Spring.
