Pamela “Pam” Snider went to be with the angels on October 21, 2017. She was born in Houston, Texas, in October 1950, to Helen and Charles Phillip Hartfield, where she grew up with her brother, Ronnie. After graduating Regan High School, Pam attended and graduated business college before becoming a purchasing agent for Exxon Mobil. True to her loyal nature, Pam continued to work at Exxon Mobil for 34 years before retiring.
In 1980, Pam had a son, Jeffrey Larrigan, with her late husband, Paul Larrigan; Paul passed away in 2002.
In October 2004, Pam married Randy Snider, the two connecting over their love of country and western dancing and travel. Shortly after they married, they moved to Grand Junction, Colorado where they loved to hike, bike, and socialize. In addition to their many cruises, Pam and Randy traveled to the Mediterranean, the Caribbean, Hawaii, the Panama Canal, and New England.
Pam’s naturally sweet, loving and kind nature was nurtured through her frequent bible study and her love for her pets, as well as volunteering with Grey Gourmet in Grand Junction.
Memorial services will be held on November 8, 2017, at 1:00 p.m. at the outdoor pavilion of the Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery on Riverside Parkway in Grand Junction, Colorado. Pam and the family kindly request that in lieu of flowers, those wishing to give please consider making a memorial contribution in Pam’s name to the Alzheimer’s Association (www.alz.org).
