Parke Hendrick Johnston

Parke Hendrick Johnston 79 died February 9, 2024 following a 10 year journey with cancer. Parke was born July 27, 1944 in Oregon. He met his wife Sheila in Ketchum Idaho and were happily married for 47 years. They have lived in Grand Junction for the past 10 years. They both love the outdoors, including hiking, skiing, camping, biking and lots of tennis. They became very connected to the tennis community once they moved here and have many friends here in town. Parke & Sheila could be seen almost every day at the courts at Canyon View or riding their bikes around town. Parke will be missed greatly but his memory will live in the hearts of those who loved him. He will be remembered as a loving kind man who made friends easily. Rest in Peace Parke!
