Patricia June Bair

June 16, 1943 — June 2, 2023

Patricia June Bair was born on June 16, 1943. She died on June 2, 2023, two weeks before her 80th birthday. She was preceded in death by her husband Ted Bair, her mother, Helen Hatch, and her brother, Jim Hatch. She is survived by her children, Buddy and Coy Bair, Michele and Jim Sprengle, and Heather and Bill Arcieri; her grandchildren Brock, Braden, Aubrey, Ivy, Morgan, Alexa, Cassy, Brittany, and Nick; her great grandchildren Leia, Mara, Russell, Kinley, Barrett, Evangeline, Benjamin, Theodore, Louis, Harper, and Sutton.

She grew up through her elementary years in Mt. Harris Colorado before moving to Steamboat Springs. Pat married Ted Bair on July 10, 1960, less than a month after she turned 17. Pat and Ted were involved in their community, attending Euzoa Bible Church, where they mentored the youth group. They were committed to raising a family that understood how to be respectful and to understand the privilege of serving others.

Pat was healthy and active throughout her life until about ten years ago, when she began having health problems with her veins, osteoporosis, and signs of emphysema. She had two aneurysms that could not be repaired, including the one in her stomach which ruptured and took her life. In the past several years, she was unable to be active and suffered from chronic pain. She often said she wished she could just go to sleep, and that God would take her home, and on her last day she was taken peacefully in her sleep.

Her faith in Jesus and the hope that brings was taught to her children from a young age, and she had that hope in the cross of Jesus Christ right to the end. Hope is a valuable blessing to instill in our loved ones. Thank you, mom and dad, for that wonderful gift.
