Paul Mansolilli

Paul Joseph Mansolilli of Carbondale, founder of Aspen Tree Service, Inc.,passed away peacefully in his sleep on June 20, 2017, three days before his
64th birthday. Paul was born in Chelsea, MA, to Constantino (Chris) and StellaBoudreau Mansolilli and grew up in Melrose.

Paul first settled in Wyoming, where he was a back-country skier and oil field mud logger. In the 1970s, he joined his brother in Aspen and began driving for
Mellow Yellow, High Mountain Taxi and Aspen Limousine. During this time, he began a firewood and hauling business, which later became Aspen Tree Service
in 1982.

Over the past 30 years, the business has become one of the most prominent and trusted in the valley, consisting of a team of 55 employees with two locations
including a nursery. The business will continue to carry on Paul’s legacy, providing the highest quality service with pride as a result of his commitment to his customers and employees.

Paul competed in the Aspen men’s recreational hockey league, skied and snowmobiled before discovering Costa Rica and the village of Nosara on thePacific coast. From his home on the beach there, he and his wife enjoyed sharing the culture with friends and family.

Paul is survived by his wife Suzanne Bullard Mansolilli of Carbondale CO, brother Jack Mansolilli of Stoneham MA, sister Joan Smith of North Andover MA,
sister Nancy Baer of Danvers MA, and many beloved nieces and nephews. He was especially close to his Colorado nephews, David Deyarmond of Woody
Creek and Aspen Tree Service, and James Deyarmond of Denver. Paul’s quiet, genial style will be missed by his family and friends from Colorado to
Costa Rica.

A celebration of life will be held at The Village Smithy in Carbondale on Friday, July 28th from 5-9pm.
