Peggy Sprinkle

Peggy Joanne Ryan-Sprinkle, age 82, went to be home with her love Ray on June 11, 2022, in Grand Junction, CO.

Joanne is survived by her children Tim and Arthur Ryan of Colorado Springs, CO, Jennifer Avery (Rick) of Grand Junction, CO and Connie Underwood of Thornton, CO also her stepson Tom (Lilla) of Grand Junction, CO daughter in law Sheila of Divide, CO. Her sister Laverne Lendo Morgan of Burlington, KS; she has 6 Grandchildren, 9 Great Grandchildren and 2 Great, Great Grandchildren and several nephews and nieces. She is preceded in death by her husband Ray, son Terry, grandson Jeffrey., Parents Harry SR and Laura Ohmie and Brothers Harry JR. and Donnie.

Joanne was born on December 28, 1939, in Denver, CO, to parents Laura Dell Hollander and Victor Fritchell; in 1940 she was adopted by Harry Ohmie SR. She graduated from LeRoy High School in LeRoy, KS in 1958. And Blair Business College in Colorado Springs, CO with a degree in secretarial and business. In1958, she moved to Colorado Springs, CO to help her Aunt Lil care for her family over the years she worked at Montgomery Wards and Farmers Insurance, she retired in 1995.

Peggy was a social, active women who was deeply involved in Church and Veterans. She was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church and life member of the VFW Auxiliary and a 50 plus year member of Monte Rosa Rebekah Lodge #4.

Celebration of Life will be scheduled for a later date. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Peggy’s life. The family would like to thank La Villa Grande Care Center for the loving care the provided since Veteran’s Day 2021.
