Peter Personette

Peter Jeffrey Personette, 59, passed away on Monday, February 6, 2023 following
a brief illness.

Pete was born May 9, 1963 in Denver, CO he was the son of Mary Marceline (Marc)
Personette and the late Oscar Francisco Personette, Thornton, CO.

Pete was survived by wife Denise and son Jacob, (who was his pride and joy), his
dog Yogi, brother Frank (Lora) and sister Lynne (AJ) Tafoya, brother-in-laws
Joseph (Dana) Cich, Robert (Brenda) Cich, Jeffrey (Tiffany) Cich, nephews, Bryan
Personette, Anthony Personette, Brian Cich,Trevor Cich, Easton Schwartz, nieces
Alyson Cich, Amanda Cich (Matt), Ashley Cich (Xander), Britney Cich and Veronica
Cich, mother-in-law Diane Cich and father-in-law Michael (Lynda) Cich, and cousins
Toni (Steve) Houck, Pat Lynch, Donna Wolfe, Mike Costello.

Pete worked for All-Phase/CED for almost 30 years until he went to work for
Rexel in June 2019. He was inside sales.
Pete loved the Denver Broncos, winning or losing, he followed them faithfully.
He loved camping and 4 wheeling with Jacob and Denise. He was a homebody. He
loved to stay home and watch the Food Network.
Denise and Jacob want to thank EVERYONE for their prayers, support, donations
and just being there for us during his short (felt very long) cancer journey.
Pete is in a better place now, he is not in any pain. He never lost his sense of
humor, especially these last few months. If you ever got to know Pete, he was
quiet, but he was funny.
Pete was such a special person, that God wanted him to come home before we were
ready. We will always cherish the time we had with him. As my sister-in-law Brenda
says: We are all just in God's waiting room.
I will be forever grateful for the 34 years I had with Pete. He gave me a great
son that he shaped to be a man, just like himself.
He was a great husband, father, son, brother, friend, co-worker.
Pete, you are now in heaven with your dad, I know you would be so humbled by the
outpouring of support we are getting. Jacob and I miss you so much. You don’t have
to worry, we will be okay with time. You will be in our hearts until the end of time.
We love you Pete.

A  Celebration of Life will be held at the Redlands Community Center on March 4, 2023  2:00-4:00 PM   (2463 Broadway, Grand Junction, CO)

CANCER SUCKS but you weathered the storm with grace and dignity and you
NEVER gave up.
