Philip Soderstrom

On December 17th 2021 Philip Joesph Soderstrom went home to our Heavenly Father.

He leaves behind his wife of 41 years Rita Soderstrom their three Children Michael Jennings, Virginia Soderstrom  Joe Soderstrom his sister Patty Hammer. He has 11  wonderful grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.1 niece Holly Prentice ,1 nephew Joe Hammer and many great nieces and nephews. Grandchildren are Justin Soderstrom, Camron Matheson ,Clayton Matheson, Trystan Matheson Ebony Jennings Thia Jennings,Noah Taylor,Clara Taylor and Ethan Taylor, Arayah Alvarez Soderstrom ,Kieslyn  Alvarez Soderstrom. Great grand children Chloe Matheson and Grayson Matheson. And so many adopted friends and family.. In his younger years  loved to hunt Birds and water fowl he so loved his birddogs and fishing. He loved working with his sons. He taught them his trade of construction early in life and was Blessed to work with them til their med 20s, Then Michael taught him his trade  in the oil field, where for a while he worked with is sons again til he retired. He was known to many as Papa Phil.

His daughter  Virginia and His youngest son Joe started him on this thing called BMX Racing way back in the 90s, That was a fun ride for 3 years.Then his grandson Camron said grandpa you gotta come watch me race ,and that was it,he had 5 of the grandkids plus Michael ,Virginia and Joe raceing. He built a race team that was his pride and Joy Rebel Racing. He is know trough out 5+ states as papa Phil, he helped so many kids and had the respect and love of all who knew him. He loved to tell stories and he loved his FAMILY  all of them.
