Phillip Losordo

Phillip Joseph Losordro, age 74, of Grand Junction, CO passed away September 9, 2014 at the Hope West Care Center in Grand Junction. Born March 24, 1940 in Brooklyn, New York, he was the son of the late Samuel and Grace Centore Losordo. Prior to his retirement, Phillip has been employed as a plumber. He is survived by three sons, Michael Losordo, Grand Junction, CO, Steve Losordo, Lincoln, NE, Chris Losordo, Littleton, CO, and a daughter, Debbie Hildrant, of Frisco, TX. Phillip dearly loved his children and Old family photos captured the joy he received from having his children near. Words weren’t necessary to know what he was feeling. His broad smile and sparkling eyes were silent expressions of his love. As youngsters, he took them on many camping trips. As the years passed, and Phillip’s health failed, he concealed his suffering with his stoic demeanor. He continued to remember them on holidays and never missed sending them a birthday card. Though he struggled both mentally and physically, he never lost his capacity to express how much he cared. He was always there for his family. Inurnment services with military honors will be held at Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Grand Junction, CO. The date and time in November 2014 will be announced later.
