Phillis Ann Bowers

Phillis Ann Bowers, age 83, passed away on Friday, July 12th, 2024. Phillis was born on August 21st, 1940 to Rondall and Jo Mae (Parker) Stoltz. She worked for both the US Forest Service and Bureau of Land Management before retiring to Fruita, CO. Phillis enjoyed gardening, volunteer work and spending time with friends. One of her greatest joys in retirement was her international travel which included Canada, Italy, Switzerland and the Netherlands. She was preceded in death by her parents Rondall and Jo Mae Stoltz. Phillis is survived by her brother Stanley Stoltz of Brea, CA, daughter Marla Bowers (John) Papaneau of Ottawa, IL, son Neil (Judy) Bowers of Columbia, MO and grandson Lance Stricklin of Ottawa, IL. 

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
