Ralph Mclean

Ralph, originating from Buffalo, NY, spent the first half of his life in New York, and the second half in Centerville, Ohio. He finally settled in Grand Junction three years ago to be close to his daughter.

Ralph was a keen engineer, a shrewd businessman, a loving husband and father, an animal advocate and a die-hard Cincinnati Reds fan. Although he did not serve in the military, his professional work provided vital assistance to the U.S. Dept. of Defense from the 1950’s to the 1990’s.

Ralph departed this life from his Redlands home on August 30th, after a long struggle with heart disease and dementia. He was preceded in death by his wife M. Oravell McLean. He is survived by his son Andrew, daughter Linda, and daughter in law Lori. The family thanks HopeWest Hospice for all that they provide to the community and encourage memorial contributions to the organization.
