Randy Moore

Randy George Moore, age 55, of Grand Junction, CO passed away July 17, 2014 at St. Mary’s Hospital.

Born September 22, 1958 in Cabool, Missouri, he was the son of the late George Lafayette and Mary Alice Miller Moore.  Randy had been a forklift operator.

Randy was fond of woodworking and building model cars. One of his finest woodworking accomplishments was building a cradle that his grandchildren used during their infancy.  He loved drawing and watching TV shows about the outdoors.

One of his favorite shows was Duck Dynasty and he tried to grow his beard to match theirs.

He was a great husband and father and a wonderful PaPa to his grandchildren.  He was referred to as “best friend” by many.

Survivors include his wife, Barbara Ann Moore, three children, Randy K. Moore and Tia M. Moore, both of Grand Junction, and Justin J. Moore, of Duluth, MN,  five siblings, Shanna Stone, of TX, Joe and Keith Moore, of MO, and Dale and James Dickenson, both of Phoenix, AZ, four grandchildren, James A., Haydin Ann-Mae, and Layla Marie Heartsill, and Bryce Anthony Hartsill-Moore.

Services will be held at A Taste of Heaven, 2817 North Avenue on July 21, 2014 at 1:00 pm.  The family kindly requests contributions to help with final expenses.
