Rene' Heinrich

René Ann Heinrich, 54 of Grand Junction Colorado, passed away on Monday, November 14, 2016. Memorial services will be held at 1 pm Saturday, November 19th at Brown’s Cremation and Funeral Service in Grand Junction.

René was born in Minot, North Dakota to William and Patricia Treacy on January 31st 1962. Being in a military family, she traveled the United States and spent a year in Turkey in her younger years. Her family settled in Montrose, Colorado in 1975. She graduated from Montrose High School in 1982. After short stints in New York City and Cleveland, Ohio, she returned to Colorado to make her home in Grand Junction. René earned her Associates Degree from Mesa State College. In the fall of 1996, she married Christopher Heinrich. They were divorced at the time of her death but remained close friends.

During her lifetime, René worked a variety of administrative jobs in a variety of industries, enjoying the challenges presented along the way. René also liked to travel, a wanderlust instilled from her year spent in Turkey as a child. Rene’s favorite place was at home with her children and grandchildren. Her grand kids were seriously the highlight of her life!!

René is survived by her mother Patricia Treacy; her children Meghan Yaskoweak (Aaron), Taylor Smith and Jordan Smith; her sister, Cathleen Treacy; her brothers Steven Treacy (Janeen) and Joseph Treacy (Kerstin); her grandchildren Bryson Yaskoweak, Tristen Scott and Addison Scott; her nieces and nephews, Andrew Treacy, Eric Treacy, Lauren Treacy and Camryn Treacy. René is preceded in death by her father, William Treacy The Family requests in lieu of flowers that donations be made to the MS Society, or a charity of your choice.
