Rhea Ellen Stucker (née Christensen) passed away on September 18, 2021 at Community Hospital in Grand Junction, Colorado. She was 91.
Rhea is survived by her son, Pat Stucker, six grand children, fifteen great-grand children, and one great-great grandchild. She is predeceased by son, Michael James Stucker, daughter, Katherine Mae Reynolds, and Grandson, Charles Lewis Stucker, of Grand Junction. She raised one of her great-grandchildren, Alexis Stucker.
Rhea was born in Price, Utah, on November 4th, 1929, to Louis and Ada Christensen (née Hanks), and graduated from Grand Junction High school in 1947. Rhea was the great-grand-daughter of Ebenezer Hanks, the founder of Hanksville, Utah. Her Grandfather was Charlie Hanks of Green River, Utah, who had eight daughters and worked to map the Henry Mountains.
She was a successful real estate agent for more than 40 years in Grand Junction, and was an avid Broncos fan. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who gave everything she had to help support her family!
A memorial service is scheduled at 11am, on October 23rd, 2021 at the LDS Church at 2881 Orchard Ave in Grand Junction. Everyone is welcome to attend and celebrate Rhea’s life.
