Richard was born in Springfield, CO and had 2 daughters 1 of which preceded him in death

He was active in the US NAVY for 6 years as an aircraft engine mechanic and later on worked in California at Lockheed Martin.  After his stint there, he moved to Grand Junction, CO to take care of his elderly parents.

Richard enjoyed the Broncos and loved good food.  His passion was antique cars and airplanes.

He also loved his pets (which consisted of a couple of cats and a 32 yr old bird)
