Ricky Lynn Brock, 69, died Monday, February 8, 2021 following a long battle with cancer. Mr. Brock was born April 22, 1951 in Grand Junction, Colorado: the son of Robert Brock and Shirley Cross.
Rick graduated Lake Stevens WA high school in 1969. Rick has been employed as a Journeyman wireman specialized in commercial/industrial for 43 years. He was a member of the IBEW local 969.
He enjoyed baseball, wrestling, football, 4-wheeling, hunting, fishing and the outdoors. When not working, Rick loved throwing batting practice to his son. He loved being a part of anything his kids or family was involved in. He was a Jeep fanatic who sometimes felt more comfortable on the edge of a cliff than driving down a straight road. He was a proud Papa that loved chasing his grandkids. He had the unique trait of telling the same stories over and over again but still made it seem like it was the first time. He loved the outdoors and was proud of all the adventures that he had been on. His favorite passion was being a loving husband, father, role model, friend, and HERO to everyone in his life. Rick accepted anyone and was a friend to everyone. He was dedicated to his family, hardworking, and always helping everyone around him.
Survivors include his wife, Ahna Brock of Grand Junction, Colorado; Daughters, Miccah (Ryan) Sargent of Southern Illinois, Morgan (Josh) Stevens of Grand Junction, Colorado; Son, Jayke (Holly) Brock of Wellington, Colorado; Grandchildren Paisley and Rigby Sargent. As well as his brothers and other extended family.
A celebration of life will be February 13, 2021 at the IBEW Local 111 building located at 786 Valley Court. Please consider making a memorial contribution in Rick’s name to Hope West.
