Ricky Arnold St. John, an esteemed cryptologic technician in the United States Navy, passed away peacefully on April 30th, 2024. Born on July 4th, 1960, Ricky dedicated his life in service to his country, leaving behind a legacy of honor, sacrifice, and unwavering dedication.
Ricky enlisted in the Navy in June 12th, 1978, embarking on a distinguished career marked by exemplary service and commitment. As a cryptologic technician, he played a pivotal role in safeguarding national security, utilizing his expertise in signals intelligence to gather critical information for military operations.
Throughout his career, Ricky served with distinction, earning numerous commendations for his bravery, skill, and dedication to duty. He demonstrated exceptional leadership and technical proficiency, earning the respect and admiration of his colleagues and superiors alike.
Ricky will be fondly remembered by his family, friends, and comrades-in-arms for his unwavering devotion to duty and the profound impact he made on the lives of those around him. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him.
In honor of his service and sacrifice, a military funeral will be held on May 21st, 2024,at the Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery of Western Colorado, with full military honors rendered. He will be laid to rest with the deepest gratitude of a grateful nation.
Ricky is survived by his loving family, including his daughter Stephanie St. John, his sisters Cindy St. John, Theresa Martinez, and Lorraine Skeez, as well as other nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. May he rest in peace, knowing his service to country will never be forgotten.
