Robert Cress

Robert Woodrow Wilson Cress Jr. born to Robert and Letha (Poer) Cress on February 12, 1936 in Middletown, Ohio.  Robert is survived by his siblings Fred, Patricia, Paul, David and Beverly, all residing in the state of Indiana.  While serving his four-year term in the United States Army he met the love of his life, Joyce L. (Lynn) and were married at Ft. Benning Georgia on December 23rd, 1956.  While serving his eight-year term in the United States Air Force, they had their four children.  Preceding his passing is Robert and Bruce and surviving are Leslie and Kimberly.  He enjoyed spending time with family, model trains, genealogy, fishing and traveling the country where he made beautiful friendships across the globe.  After a long battle with health issues Robert passed surrounded with family on July 19th, 2018 in Grand Junction, Colorado.  He was also a proud Grandfather to 11 Grandchildren, 23 Great-Grandchildren and 2 Great-Great Grandchildren.

Services will be held on Monday, August 6th, 2018 at 12:30 p.m. at Fort Logan National Cemetery in Denver, Colorado
