Robert Edward Davis died February 1, 2022, at Colorado Canyons Hospital in Fruita. He fought hard in his battle against Parkinson’s disease.

Bob was born to Ted and Ailene Davis and was the oldest of three sons. He was in the first graduating class of Fruita Monument High School in 1970. He attended Mesa Junior College and earned a degree in auto body repair. Bob started his own auto body repair shop and loved using his talents to make cars and trucks turn heads.

Bob’s great loves were his wife, Sandy; nieces, Rachel and Mindy; nephews, Nick and Garrett, and great-niece Morgan, and great-nephew, Blane.

He loved playing slow pitch softball, parks and rec basketball and riding dirt bikes. Bob also loved his old 57 Chevy and 56 Chevy Cameo. He was our “MacGyver” and could build almost anything he put his mind to. Bob was one of the most caring, generous and loving people you will ever meet.

He’s survived by his wife, Sandy, and his brothers, Bill and Jim (Kenda).

A memorial service will be Sunday, February 27, at 1:00 p.m., at the Grand Junction Seventh Day Adventist Church, 550 25 1/2 Road.
