Robert Dearmond

Robert James Dearmond, 80, of Cedaredge, Colorado passed away on Oct. 25, 2020 in Montrose, Colorado.

Burial was at Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery, Grand Junction, Colorado on November 2, 2020. Arrangements were by Brown’s Cremation and Funeral Service in Grand Junction, Colorado.

Bob was born in Cope, Colorado to Florence Kendall and Herbert Clyde Dearmond on January 15, 1940.  He attended school at Meeker High in Meeker Colorado and served in the Navy from 1957 until 1962.  He married Jean and they were later divorced. He then had a relationship with Geraldine and a daughter Vickie was born. That relationship also did not last and he married Sally Ann Hensgen on December 2, 1966.

He enjoyed restoring antique cars, hunting, fishing, and traveling in his RV.

Bob is preceded in death by his parents, Geraldine, his daughter Vickie, step-daughter Theresa Wiltfong, son-in-law Julio Monteros, and son-in-law Russell Rasmussen.

He is survived by his wife Sally, step daughters Shelly Rasmussen, Debra Monteros, Ginger Aldridge, grandchildren Janell Wouda and Bobby Wouda, Colin (Nicole) Rasmussen, Clif (Sydnee) Rasmussen, Jason (Heidi) Rasmussen, Cameron (Ashelee) Rasmussen, Krista, Jeffery, Jerrod, Justin Monteros, Jessica (Jerry) White, James Mellott, and 16 great-grandchildren.
