Robert Webster

Robert “Bob” Webster, 85, of Grand Junction, CO passed away January 26, 2017. He was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years Betty and youngest son Mark. He is survived by his son Rev. Dr. Robert Webster, Jr. (Victoria) of Dover, TN and his stepdaughter D. Gail Keffer (Mike) of Buckeye, AZ. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Bob served in the Air Force for a short time then worked as an office manager and executive for several different insurance companies throughout his career. After his retirement he went to work as a truck driver for May Trucking Company until his permanent retirement in 1998. Bob was a lifelong and very active Southern Baptist serving on various committees and assisted in multiple building campaigns. He made the decision as a youth to follow Jesus and never looked back. A celebration of life service will be held at Emmanuel Baptist Church on March 6, 2017 at 10:00am. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the Emmanuel Baptist Church Building Fund, 395 31 5/8 Road, Grand Junction, CO 81504.
