Ronald Chester Kazmierczak, age 76 died early Thursday February 29, 2024 following a battle with ALS. Born March 30th 1947 in Ingleside, Illinois, he was the son of the late Chester and Lucille Kazmierczak.
He was a veteran of the US Air Force, serving as a Master Sargent retiring after 23 years of service. He moved to Grand Junction in 1991, and eventually started his own successful business known as Ron's Renovations. He was avid fisherman and successful hunter, spending a good portion of the summers with his loving wife Linda, in Lake Powell, Utah. Ron was an outgoing man who never knew a stranger and whose great love in life was making and seeing people laugh. On vacation in and out of the country, Ron would find friends along the way who stayed in contact for years, making separate vacations to keep in touch.
Ron was a dedicated, loving husband and friend. He was a hardworking man, who took great pride in his country and the work he provided in his professional and personal life. He is preceded in death by his wife whom he lovingly referred to as ' My Linda'.
Celebration of Life/ Military Honors will be Monday March 18,2024 at 3:00 PM at the Veterans Memorial Cemetery 2830 Riverside Parkway, Grand Junction, CO.
