Ronald Tezak

February 5, 1951 — December 5, 2020

We are deeply saddened for the loss of Ron C Tezak, Feb 5, 1951 - Dec 5, 2020.  Ron was born in 1951 and raised in Grand Junction, co, by John Tezak and Mary Tezak. He graduated from grand junction high school in 1969, where he met the love of his life, Janet Kaye Tezak. Ron and Janet were married in 1971 and Janet gave birth in 1976 to Matthew Tezak and then in 1977 to Jaclyn Lenahan. Ron enjoyed 4 wheeling so decided to start 4x4 in 1978. Then moving to Tulsa Oklahoma and working for Halls Off road for a few years. Both his parents became ill, and Ron and his family moved back to grand junction, co.  During this time, he switched gears in his career, and he started working for a food broker, working with City market for the next 17 years.

Ron spends the rest of his career at Humphrey RV, because of his love for the outdoors.  He was named #1 salesman in the nation for KZ trailers for 3 years. His legacy there will never be forgotten with the Humphrey family.

Ron was an avid hunter and was a Lifetime member of the Rocky Mountain elk foundation.  His thousands of dollars in donations over the years to RMEF was just one of the selfless acts to insure his love of hunting. Ron and Janet were married for 50 years, surviving is, his wife Janet, his sister Terry Lyn, daughter Jacqui and her son Aeneas, his son Matthew, his wife Jocelyn, daughter Ily as well as nephew Brian and niece Amy.

It is our greatest honor to invite our family and friends to celebrate Ron’s life.  Ron was a lover of the outdoors and Grand Mesa. Please come share fun stories about Ron.  The family and friends would love to hear how he made an impact on your lives as he did ours.

Date June 27th at 1-3 pm

Location Sky Way Trail Head, top of the grand Mesa off Highway 65.

Great thanks to the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, terry sweet and Jim Sparks who will be providing all the food. Please bring a chair to relax in.
