Ronald Webster

October 27, 1938 — October 2, 2018

Ronald Howard Webster, "Grandpa Bear" passed gently, surrounded by family, from his home in Palisade, CO into Heaven on October 2, 2018. His long, courageous cancer battle is done, he is in a better place, doing many of his favorite things --- riding his favorite horse, visiting with so many that went before him. He so loved his family and friends and adored all our Grandbabies (big and small)

On October 27, 1938, in Springer, NM, Buddy and Maxine Webster welcomed a unique and special soul who touched many lives in his time. He never met a stranger and always had a witty remark and wonderful advice, especially for his beautifully blended family.

He accomplished many of his dreams - Owning his own company, Rocky Mountain Supply, which will be carried on by his wife Kitty, in his tradition of integrity and keeping customers as friends. He thoroughly appreciated and enjoyed the beauty of nature while hunting, horseback riding, and fishing in a fabulous variety of places. Conservation was at the heart of his joy of the outdoors through being an active and honored member of the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation.

His legacy will live on through the love of his life, Katherine (Kitty) Webster and their blended family:

Children: Matthew (Sandy) Snow of NM, Kim (Boog) Walton of TX, Tammy (Billy) Earnest of NV, Eric (Michelle) of TX, Andrea (Mick) of TX, Buddy (Hannah) of CO, Laura Phillips of AZ, Amanda (Brian) of CO, Kassy Weary Buss of MT, Chris (Amy) Weary of ID. Siblings: Lynda Bates of TX, Steve (Linda) Webster of TX, Darla (Steve) Fernandez of CO, Michael (Kristen) Webster of CA, numerous nieces and nephews, 29 beloved Grandchildren and 19 adored Great- Grandchildren.

Preceded in death by his Granddaughter, Rozlynn.

  1. He would tell us to tighten our cinches and Cherish the many memories and make more! He will ALWAYS be part of who we are, we weren't ready, but he was...... it was his time And The Cowboy Rode Away... As he requested, we will have a celebration of Life in the springtime - when 'never summer' is done.
