Ruby Nelles

Ruby Mae Nelles, age 86, died on November 12th, 2022 following a brief illness.

Born in Wewoka, Oklahoma she was the daughter of John and Lois Stout.

Ruby was proud to support her loving husband, Kenneth Nelles during his career in the Air Force. As they traveled over the years, Ruby would pick up work as a waitress in various locations.

The most important thing in Ruby’s life was her family. She loved being a mother and spouse. From dancing and roller skating to swimming in the ocean and attending baseball games - though all their adventures, Ruby was always there with her family encouraging them along.

Ruby was also a very strong believer in God – her and Ken worked hard to make sure they let God’s light shine through in everything they would do.

Ruby was preceded in death by her parents, John and Lois Stout, her siblings, Elmer, Earl, Nora, John, and Rick, and her children, Preston, Billy, and Stephen.

Ruby is survived by her loving husband Kenneth, her sons, Randy, Michael, Kenney, and Denny, along with many cherished grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held for her on December 9th, 2022 1pm at Veterans Memorial Cemetery of Western Colorado - Address: 2830 Riverside Pkwy, Grand Junction, CO 81501.
