Ruth Creagar

Ruth was born to William and Thelma Gardner on June 28, 1941, in Clifton, Colorado. She graduated from Central High School in Clifton in 1959 and from Mesa State as a registered nurse in 1972. She then completed training in midwifery. She delivered nearly 2,000 babies over the course of her career, finishing her career in Tuba City, Arizona. Ruth retired in 1993 and moved back to Grand Junction to care for her parents and spend time closer to family. Ruth was actively involved with teaching Bible classes through the Clifton Christian Church.

Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, William and Thelma (Oberly) Gardner and two grandsons, Brian Hall and Matthew Creagar. Survivors include her brother, Mike (Helen), Gardner, son Robert (Ellen) Creagar, daughters Sharon (Red Bragg) Hall and Elizabeth (Doug) Winter, and grandchildren Andrew Hall, Molly Creagar, and Ethan Creagar.
