Ruth Krizman

Ruth Eldon Young was born on Friday the 13th, March, 1936 to Ralph and Dorothy Young in Kansas City, Missouri.  Her family, including her sister Martha, moved to the Appleton area when they were young girls.  She married John Krizman June 10, 1956 in Grand Junction, where they raised their 3 boys, who were her greatest pride and joy.  She loved camping on the Mesa, quilting, gardening, traveling, watching her kids and grandkids play sports, shopping and time spent with Martha.

Ruth worked as a kindergarten aide at Clifton Elementary School for many years.  She treasured her co-workers, taught the kids to give her back rubs, and enjoyed watching them learn and grow.

Ruth passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, December 27, 2020.  She leaves behind her husband John of 64 years, sons: JT (Susan), Garrie (Laurie) and Mike (Lorena), 6 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and Kansas cousins whom she loved dearly.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Martha and her husband John Ferguson, and several nieces and nephews.
