Ryan Burns, 34, of Grand Junction passed away silently on January 30th, 2022.
Ryan was born in Grand Junction on July 8th, 1987, to Randy & Stella Burns. He was a beloved son, grandson, brother, uncle, and friend. It is with extreme sadness that we announce his passing.
Ryan was a bright spark in the world and will be deeply missed. Ryan’s family was unprepared for this unexpected loss. He was a kind soul that would always do the most for others. Ryan will be remembered for his passion of mechanics and outdoor activities, alike. He loved working on cars, building Legos, playing disc-golf, jamming his favorite tunes, and exploring this vast world.
Ryan was so much more than his struggles. He never knew a stranger and would always make you feel welcomed. Ryan was a soft-spoken, intelligent, patient, kind-hearted person, everything a good man should be. He loved fiercely and deeply, and we take comfort in knowing that Ryan is now at peace, surrounded by light.
He is survived by his father, Randy Burns; sister, Lindsay Burns; grandmother, Darlene Tafoya; nephew & niece, Oakley & Leila; and countless Uncles, Aunts, and Cousins. Welcoming him home is his mother, Stella Burns; grandfather, John Burns; and grandmother, Jeanie Chavez.
There will be a Celebration of Life held in his honor at Brown’s Cremation and Funeral Services on February 12th, 2022, at 11AM.
Until we meet again Ryan, we love you!
