Sandra Lofland

Obituary for Sandra “Sandy” Ann Lofland On the night of February 24th, 2016, Sandra passed away peacefully at her residence in Fruita, Colorado. Sandra was 75 years old. Sandra was born in Managua, Nicaragua on October 10, 1940. She was the eldest of three children and only daughter to Lois and Jack Lofland. Sandra earned an AAS Degree in Nursing from Trinidad State Junior College. She also worked as an analyst in the petroleum engineering industry. A gentle and loving soul, Sandra befriended many people and animals. She enjoyed gardening, reading, shopping, and going for rides in her brother’s corvettes. She is survived by her two brothers Jack and Thomas Lofland; her daughter Jennifer Oxelson Ganter and son-in-law Alan Ganter; nieces and nephews Tom, Susan, and Michelle; and her beloved pets: cat Nosy and dog Henry.
