Sandy Gonzales

Sandy was born May 20th, 1951 and raised in Delta, Colorado. He was the second oldest of 8 children, as a young adult he worked as a coal and hard rock miner in Silverton, Colorado. In 1974 he was married and started a family, having two children, Jeremy and Tasha Gonzales. Over the years, Sandy made his home in both Montrose and Canon City, Colorado. In 1989 he met Karen Cravatt and inherited two more children Jason and Laura Cravatt.

Sandy loved camping, fishing and hunting with his brothers and son. He especially loved spending time with his granddaughters, spoiling them. Sandy had a huge heart and a great sense of humor. He was very loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Sandy was preceded in death by his parents, Pete and Eva Gonzales, his brothers, Pete Gonzales, Billy Gonzales, Joseph Gonzales, and John Gonzales, and his two nieces Brandi and Tara Gonzales.

Sandy is survived by his significant other, Karen Cravatt, children, Jeremy, and Tasha Gonzales, step-children, Jason, and Laura Cravatt, siblings, Rosie, Christina, George, and Gene Gonzales, granddaughters, Victoria Tavares, Izabella Gonzales, Andromeda Cravatt, Akadia Cravatt, Alixyana Cravatt, Ariana Cravatt, Jasmine Cravatt, and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
