Sarah Reeves

Sarah Louise Reeves, age 84, passed away May 16, 2020, at her home in Grand Junction, Colorado, surrounded by her loved ones.

Born August 30, 1935 in Mountain View, Arkansas, she was the daughter of the late Reverand John Bunk Thomas and Lois Mahaley Thomas.

Sarah was a homemaker who loved bowling, 4-wheeling, camping, catfishing, and spending time with her loving family.

Sarah married Hasten Reeves on April 2, 1951 in Floral, Arkansas. Sarah and Hasten moved to Colorado in 1955 living in Uravan, Colorado, where they raised six children: Doy Reeves (Dorothy), Sharetta Darlene Bradham (Ben), Jerry Reeves, Dennis Reeves (Sonya), Gary Reeves (Marsha), and Clinton Reeves (Teri).

Sarah has twenty three grand children, fifty nine great-grandchildren, and three and one half great-great-grandchildren.

Sarah was preceded in death by her father and mother, four brothers, two sisters, and two grandchildren.

Graveside services will be May 20, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at the Whitewater Cemetery, 1360 Coffman Road, Whitewater, Colorado 81527.
