Scott Robert Dix

Scott R. Dix, September 19, 1946 passed away after a long battle with cancer on January 12, 2025. He is survived by his wife Oona, daughter Terri, stepdaughter Jennifer, stepson Will, granddaughter Brooke, sisters Kathy and Terry, brother Tony and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his son Patrick Dix and daughter Lori. 

Scott was born in Waukegan, Illinois and grew up in Black Forest Colorado. He enlisted in the Navy after high school and served for 10 years. He was especially proud of being involved with the communication for the moon landing. He ended his career as an inspection specialist for the Department of Defense, covering all of western Colorado. Scott never met anyone he wouldn't help, and he will be sorely missed. 

Committal services with military honors will be held at the Veterans Memorial Cemetery on February 14th, 2025 at 1pm.
