Survivors include one daughter, Dominique Canada of Delta; her parents, Brigietta James of Delta, CO  and Joseph R. Johnson Sr., of Belleville, IL three sisters, Shakela Thomas of Houston, Sharesse Johnson of Dallas and Zandra Cotton Hawthorne of Denver.

Grandmother Ella D. Bennett (Zebede), Special Aunt Barbara Cotton-Pearson, Uncle Gregory (Jackie) Canada of Centennial, CO.  And a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
