It is with heavy hearts that the family of Steve Parker Jr. Foster announces his passing on Saturday, March 30, 2019, at the age of 60 years. Steve was born on June 19, 1958 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Grand Junction, CO. He spent much of his early childhood with his family on Outlaw Mesa, near Gateway, CO, and in Grand Junction, CO. Steve graduated from Grand Junction High school in 1976, and spent much of his young adulthood in Colorado and Texas, before moving back to Grand Junction in the 1980s. He married his wife, Teresa, in the fall of 1991 before having his son, Steven, in 1993. Steve will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Teresa, and his son, Steven. Steve will also be lovingly remembered by his mother Tookie, his sister, Becky, his brother, Joe, his daughter-in-law Candace, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Steve was predeceased by his Father, Steve Parker Foster.
A Celebration of Steve’s life will be held on Sunday, April 7, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. at the Grand Junction Seventh day Adventist Church, 550 25 1/2 Rd, in Grand Junction, Colorado. Those who so desire may make memorial donations in memory of Steve to the Center for Independence (
