Susan Oberlin

Susan Jean Oberlin 12/5/55 – 01/03/2015  died January 3, 2015 at Community Hospital. She was born December 5th, 1955 to Myron and Iris Benton. She graduated from Longmont High School in 1972 and married Rick Oberlin in 1982. She and her husband Rick lived in Lyons, Naturita and Grand Junction. They performed music together, often referred to as “Legs and the Kid”. Susan was a talented weaver and crafts person. She is survived by her brother Dick Benton of Longmont CO. She is preceded in death by her husband Rick and brother Jack Benton. Susan wished for her ashes to be scattered with those of her husband Rick at Wild Basin, Rocky Mountain National Park. Comfort Keepers watched over Susan these last few years and deserve our gratitude for her care.
