Ted Hoaglund

Ted Hoaglund was a loving and caring husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend.  He left this world to be with his Lord and Savior on January 4th, 2022.

He was born in Collbran, Colorado to Oscar and Mary Jane Hoaglund on June 29th, 1948.  After completing schooling, Ted married the love of his life, Donna Moore on June 13th, 1970 and together they had 3 children: Dale, Damond and Daren.

Ted retired from the Grand Junction Regional Center- State of Colorado in 1998 and continued to embrace life to the fullest.  He loved spending family time in the mountains, where he was constantly on the lookout for deer. Ted was a faithful member to his church, Jubilee Family Church, and continued to serve up until his illness no longer allowed him to do so.  Ted was never without a quick one-liner whenever asked how he was doing.  One of his favorites being “If I was any better, I would have to take something for it”.

Ted is preceded in death by his son; Daren Hoaglund, and parents; Oscar and Mary Jane Hoaglund

Ted is survived by his wife, Donna Hoaglund; sons Dale Hoaglund (Melanie) and Damond Hoaglund (Becky); sister Shirlee Cook (Dennis)and five grandchildren.

A memorial service is being planned for early summer, 2022.
