Teresa Newbury

Teresa Newbury, of Grand Junction, Colorado, passed away in her home on August 1, 2020.

Teri was born on February 23,1961, in Grand Junction, to Barbara and Bill Bergstrom, both deceased. She married John Newbury, Jr on April 28, 1978. She loved caring for others and spent most of her career in pursuit of that endeavor, doing daycare, adult home health and senior care in retirement homes.

Teri is survived by her husband of 42 years, John Newbury, her daughter, Jessica Tomberlin and son-in-law Eric Tomberlin, of Virginia Beach, VA, her son, Peter Newbury and daughter-in-law, Rachael Newbury, of Grand Junction, her sister Billie Braeutigam and brother-in-law Wayne Braeutigam, of Fruita, CO, her sister Ada Bergstrom and her partner, Mike Ballew, of Mack, CO, her sister Cathy Deines, of Maxwell, NM, her brother Randy Gant, of Hot Sulpher Springs, CO, her beloved grandchildren, Isaac and Caleb Tomberlin and Isaiah, Noah and Esa Newbury, and many more nieces, nephews and loved ones.

A memorial service will be held Monday, August 10, 2020 at Brown's on 904 N 7th street, Grand Junction, CO, at 10 a.m. with Darrin Crow of HEART of Junction officiating
