Theodore Salazar, (Also known as Ted, Papo and Lolo) 93, passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday, March 26, 2024.
Born June 17, 1930, in Park View New Mexico, he was the son of the late Onesimo and Virginia Salazar.
He was a veteran of the US Army from February 1951 until he was Honorably discharged in October 1956.
Ted married Louisa Martinez in April 1956 and they were blessed with four children.
Ted worked in the lumber yard at Boise Cascade in Montrose as well as in Grand Junction.
He enjoyed fishing, hunting, watching boxing and old westerns.
He always had the best smile and loved his Hershey Bars!
Ted was preceded in death by his wife Louisa Martinez Salazar.
5 brothers and 1 sister.
Ted is survived by son Ted Salazar, Grand Junction, Co., Daughter Gina (Gary) Coup, Fruita, Co.
Jake (Rebecca) Salazar, Grand Junction, Co., Daughter Paula Salazar, Grand Junction Co.
14 Grandchildren and 23 Great Grandchildren. 
A grave side service will be held Friday, April 12, 2024, 11:00am at Elmwood Cemetery in Fruita.
Following will be a Celebration of Life at the home of Gina and Gary Coup
1871 J Road, Fruita, Colorado.
Services have been entrusted to Brown's Cremation and Funeral Services
