Thomas White

Thomas Anthony White, age 73, of Crawford, Colorado died July 4, 2017 at Hospice Care Center in Grand Junction.

Born in Montrose, CO on February 19, 1944, he was the son of the late

Roy and Iva (Huffaker) White.  He graduated from Montrose High School in 1962.  He was a veteran of the United States Army having during Vietnam.

Tom was a drywaller for many years and later worked in a dry cleaners.  He was a perfectionist in everything he did.  He enjoyed collecting coins and do leather work.

Tom was a very quiet man who stayed to himself.  He loved his family and was very dedicated to his pets.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother and a sister who died before Tom was born.  Most recently, his daughter, Melissa May, died in December of 2016.

He is survived by three daughters, Randi (Conrado) Mendoza, Crawford, CO, with whom Tom lived for the past nineteen years,  Connie (Jaime) Marquez of Denver and Cheryl White of Brighton, CO, one son Bryan (Rachel) White of Thornton, CO, twenty grandchildren, and twenty great grandchildren.  Also left behind but not forgotten, his two K9 companions, Bella and Baby.

Services will be Friday, August 4, 2017 at 3 P.M. at the Veterans Memorial Cemetery of Western Colorado.  Friends are encouraged to gather at the cemetery at 2:45 P.M.
