Timothy Mink

Timothy Allen Mink, age 71, died January 17, 2022, suddenly.

Timothy was born on October 1, 1950, to William R. Mink and Rose Haghey in Pierre, South Dakota.

He graduated from Rapid City South Dakota High School. He was a longtime resident here in Grand Junction in 1979. He has been employed as a mechanic at Kendell Electric, worked at Budweiser as a delivery driver, worked at Mesa Mall as a janitor, he also worked for District 51 as a school janitor at Palisade High School and retired from District 51 and Homestake mines in Rapid City, South Dakota.

He enjoyed camping, fishing, pool, horse races, hiking, working at petroglyphs &hunting. He also enjoyed being around his friends and family.

Tim was a very friendly person, he was a comedian at times, loved his family and friends, he loved the outdoors and his dogs.

Timothy is preceded in death by his father William (Bill) Mink, his mother Rose Mink, his really good friends Warren Barnes, and Vernon Barnes.

He is survived by his ex-wife Kathy Mink of Clifton, Co, his sister Willa (Ray) Block of Rapid City, South Dakota, his brother Randy (Dorothy) Mink of Gettysburg, South Dakota, his son Michael Mink, daughters Angie (Scott) McBee, Jennifer Mink his step daughter Jennifer Rowe of Clifton, Co, his grandkids Daniel (Steffanie) Terwilliger of Texas, Joseph Paul Aho of Abilene, Texas, Kyla Royle of Dover, Minnesota, Michael Mink Jr., Iziah Mink, Lilyana Mink, Jordan Mink and three other grandkids . He also has 2 great great grandkids Aspen and Bentley Terwilliger, nieces and nephews, and aunts and uncles.

A Memorial Service will be held later in the spring.
