Timothy Stevens

Timothy Ray Stevens, 49, of Grand Junction, CO, passed away Friday, September 29, 2017 due to natural causes.  Timothy was born June 27, 1968 in California to Sharon O’Keefe Heinecke.  He grew up in California, New York, and Alabama and attended Chavala High School in Seale, Alabama. Colorado was where he called home and was an avid Broncos fan, but Alabama was his second home where he proudly considered himself a Crimson Tide fan.  He married Shannon Sellers of Grand Junction, Colorado on November 12, 2016 and was looking forward to their first anniversary.

He was preceded in death by his mother Sharon Louise O’Keefe Heinecke, grandmother Shirley O’Keefe, mother-in-law Paula Jean Sellers, nephew Caleb Stevens, and aunt Kathleen Gohl

He is survived by his wife Shannon Stevens, sister Tammy (Steve) Caipen, brothers Gary (Bobbi) Stevens, and James (Candice) Reynolds.  Father John Heinecke. Daughters Patricia Dill, Tasha Stevens, sons Timothy Ray Stevens, Jr., and Joshua Stevens.  Grandchildren Andrew, Starleigh, Gemmaleigh, Angel, Ashlyn, Trinity, and Trenton.  He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews, nieces, and friends that are just too many to list but he loved them all with all his heart.

Services will be held at Clifton Assembly of God, 258 5th St., Clifton, CO 81520 at 10 am – 12 pm followed by a balloon release at the church.  Reception will be held at our home 399 Dry Fork Ct., Grand Junction, CO 81504. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to a charity of your choice as Tim tried to be a very generous person and tried to help people in any way he could.
