Please read these important details about the service:
As everyone knows, Tina loved people more than anything else in this world and her wish, more than anything, was for people to be together and feel safe and cared for. We want to ensure everyone attending is able to feel as safe and cared for as possible and are sure Tina would have prioritized people feeling safe over people having to experience the inconvenience of mask wearing.
We are aware that no precautions are 100% effective but feel the following expectations are what Tina would have wanted and they will be strictly enforced. To honor her memory, we will require everyone to wear masks (regardless of vaccination status). Vaccinated individuals will be able to request to be seated with other vaccinated individuals. Those who are unvaccinated due to a medical condition precluding them from being able to be vaccinated will be afforded the opportunity for socially distanced seating. We also plan to live stream the service via Zoom. Zoom is a free service anyone with a computer or smart phone and an internet connection can use. Smart phone users will need to download the Zoom App.
We hope for the service to be interactive and plan to give people the opportunity to speak about Tina or share fond memories. We know our mother helped thousands of people in her life and hope to see that reflected in the attendance of this service both in person and via Zoom.

If it is your custom to give gifts to honor people, Tina would be most honored if you would make donations in Tina’s name either:
Hope West Hospice: https://www.hopewestco.org/
Hope West provided Tina’s hospice care and were caring, kind, professional. They surpassed every expectation we could ever have by always putting our family’s needs first. They were available at a moment’s notice and their responses were always exactly what we hoped and expected they would be. We are forever in their debt.

Taylor Elementary Special Education Team
As most know my Tina’s passion was caring and kids and during her 21 years as an educator most of which was spent at Taylor as a special education teacher, she did everything in her power, frequently risking her career when necessary to ensure EVERY child got what the needed to reach their fullest potential. She said the hard things to administrators, parents, and colleagues whenever she though it would make a difference (which was often). She lived the ideal “do the right thing.” She would love to see the special education staff at Taylor Elementary receive extra support or even just appreciation they so greatly deserve.
