Tommy Vaughn

Tommy Allen Vaughn , 81, was born on April 8, 1939, in Denver, Colorado, and passed away at
HopeWest Hospice in Grand Junction on March 11, 2021.
He was raised in Denver, and he married his wife Susan on June 11, 1960. The couple lived in Denver,
Fort Collins, Craig, Eagle and Grand Junction. Tom graduated from Colorado State University and
went to work for the Colorado Department of Highways as a Project Manager for road construction
projects from the top of Vail Pass to the Utah border. He loved gardening, and graduated from the
Master Gardener program in Grand Junction. He was involved with the Canyon View Vineyard
Church community garden, as well as many volunteer projects at the church.
He is survived by Susie, his wife of 60 years, his children Melissa Bjork, Jason (Sandi) and Timothy
(Jean) Vaughn, 7 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
He was a great friend, a loving husband and father, and he will be missed.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
