Tracy Kay (Smallwood) McDonald, 56, died January 24, 2022 following a fight against covid. Tracy was born November 9, 1965 in Caldwell, Idaho to Alvin and Fern Smallwood of Wilder, Idaho. Tracy attended all of her school years and graduated from the Wilder School District in May of 1984. Tracy married Joseph McDonald on May 10, 2009 and they moved to Grand Junction, Colorado in September of 2014. Her last job in Idaho was with Internet Truck Stop in New Plymouth. In Colorado she worked for Starteck, Rocky Mountain Health, and customer care at Lincare Oxygen.
Tracy and Joe enjoyed going camping and four-wheeling at Grand Mesa, Colorado. Tracy liked crafting of all types. Her favorite thing in life was being a Grandmother. Tracy was a true red head, but she loved people, she had several friendships that lasted many years. Tracy valued her family first, last, and always. Tracy had grandparents, uncles, aunts, and many cousins to greet her at the gates of heaven.
Tracy is survived by her husband, Joe, son Bryan Smallwood, daughter-in-law Saige Ellingford Smallwood, and grandson Jaxon from Evanston, Wyoming, son Christopher Freeman, daughter- in-law Echo from DeBeque, Colorado, and stepson Andrew McDonald and his wife Shae and their daughters Taylyn and Journey from Pocatello, Idaho. Tracy is also survived by her parents Alvin and Fern Smallwood, brother David and sister Sandra Smallwood all from Wilder, Idaho, brother Ron and his wife Sandy from Nyssa, Oregon and sister Susan Smallwood from Nampa, Idaho. She is also survived by several aunts: Molly Avenell Means, Fern Savage, Dolly Parmer, Wanda Smallwood, and Marie, Verna, Wenona, and Jaunita Patrick.
Services are tentativly being planned for April 22, 2022 at the Parma Senior Center in Parma, Idaho, at 3pm
