Ty Leonard Raley

Ty Leonard Raley, age 54, passed away at home in Grand Junction, Co. surrounded by family on the tenth day of April at 06:50 pm.  Ty was born on 12/05/1968 in Rifle Co. to Errol and Patty Raley, he is survived by his parents, an older brother Keene and younger brother Kord. Ty was raised in the loving home of Ken and Barbara Snyder. 

Ty lived a rich and full life, attended Grand Junction H.S., competed in Special Olympics, and made an annual trip to the San Juan mountains to see the Camp Bird Mine. Ty loved history, old steam engines and mining towns and longed that we could go back to a simpler way of life. Ty loved sports, mostly basketball and football, and had an amazing ability to remember players and coaches names. Ty never met a stranger, his love for people was unconditional, his ability to relate to people was truly amazing. Despite his disability and small stature he lived large, believed he could do all things and often proved those wrong who doubted him.

Rocky Mountain Baptist Church 4199 W Centennial Pkwy. Rifle, CO 81650 on 04/29/2023 at 11 am.
