Vicki Ann Erwin, 66 died Sunday March 9th following a long illness.
She was born on October 12, 1958, in Dayton, Ohio to Carl and Marie Frasier Sr.
Vicki graduated from Trotwood Madison high school in Trotwood, Ohio.
The family moved to Grand Junction, Colo. in 1978 where She met her husband of 45 years in the spring of 1979, and they married in November 1979.
Vicki was a stay-at-home mother and after raising two children she worked in the clerical field for most of her remaining working years.
Throughout her life Vicki loved adventure, she snorkeled cenotes in Akumal Mexico, rode sail cats in the Virgin Islands, rafted the Colorado river in the family raft or did days long hiking trips in southwest Colorado and New Mexico. But most of all she loved family, her children, nephews and nieces and the kids of our neighborhood whom she has kept in touch with over the years. She had an amazing memory for special dates and birthdays. Her memory also included a love for music, bands and songs from the 1960s through today.
Vicki was a warm and inviting person where people felt safe approaching and being with her. She is preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her husband Kirk, daughter Jennifer Nichols, son Barak, brother Tim (Laurie) Frasier, Grandsons Bryson and Tyler, and many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
