Virginia Arnold

One hundred and One year old, Virginia Elizabeth Arnold, loyal Broncos fan to the end, died peacefully Friday, June 6, 2014 at Mantey heights Care Center in Grand Junction, CO where she had resided for the past 3 1/2 years. Born March 13, 1913 in El Paso, IL, she was the daughter of the late Samuel N and Mildred E. Blumeshine Russ. Virginia was a college graduate and prior to her retirement, she was employed as a medical office manager. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Charles Benjamin Arnold. She is survived by a daughter, Linda Afman, and a son, John Arnold, both of Grand Junction, 10 grandchildren and two great grandchildren. A picture of her favorite player had been prominently displayed in her room and as fitting tribute, she was cremated wearing her Broncos shirt.
