Wanda Jefferis

Our beloved Wanda F. Jefferis, of Grand Junction, Colorado, was peacefully called home to be with the Lord on March 6th, 2019. For the first time in years, she is free from all pain. How wonderful she must feel!
Wanda was born in Forth Worth, Texas on March 26, 1938, to Juanita and Grady Gipson. She married the love of her life and soulmate, George, on March 1, 1958. They were married 61 beautiful years. She spent her years making a home for their family and raising their two daughters.
Wanda was an Angel much before her passing. It was in her strength that she amazed her loved ones each day. Her humor and tenacious spirit was a light in our lives. While many would have given up, she persevered with a smile and countless jokes. She loved tenderly and with everything she had. We’re so grateful for the time that we had with her. Until we meet again.
She is survived by her husband; George R. Jefferis of Grand Junction, Colorado. Her daughters; Jaquette Grabe and spouse, and Denise Stewart, and spouse , both of Grand Junction, Colorado. One sister, Dixie Thomas, of Texas. Several nieces and nephews, and four grandchildren with four great grand children. Services will be held on Tuesday, March 12th at 11:00 A.M. at Fellowship Church.
