William Daniel

William "Drew" Daniel was born on October 16, 1990 in Lynchburg, VA. He spent most of his childhood in AltaVista, VA before his family moved to Fairplay, CO. Drew attended high school in Cedaredge, CO where he met numerous life long friends. Although Drew had his "best friends," he truly was a friend to all who knew him. He never cared what your walk of life was like, he just embraced you for exactly who you are. Cedaredge High School is also where Drew met his Wife, Tweetie. Drew & Tweetie were high school sweethearts. They began dating in July of 2006 and had the wonderful blessing of spending 10.5 years together.

The couple married on August 21, 2011 in Delta, CO. After marrying, they moved to Grand Junction, CO where they bought a home to raise their family in. They share two beautiful children together. A boy, Logan (6 years old) and a girl, Acelyn (3 years old.) Drew's family was the light of his life. His son Logan was his "mini - me" doing everything he possibly could to be like Daddy. And his daughter Acelyn held the key to his heart. There was not a thing in this world she couldn't have convinced Daddy to do for her. Drew's love for his wife Tweetie was fierce. Even after many years spent together, they still lit each other up. Drew spent his adult life making a living by Coal Mining.

He enjoyed the hard work and made some wonderful friends along the way. However, his goal in life was to work with troubled youth in a Juvenile Detention Center. Drew himself came from a colorful past, and because of this he felt he could relate to these children and truly help them better their lives. It is so incredibly unfortunate that he didn't have time to achieve this goal, as he would of made a real difference in the lives of these teens. Drew was a man of many hobbies.

He had an incredible talent for drawing. He was an avid sport's fan, especially the Denver Broncos. He enjoyed playing basketball with his son, having bonfires with friends, and he loved to stay busy with projects around the house. Drew loved to work with tools and build/refurbish things, and he was very good at it.

Drew is survived by his wife Tweetie Daniel of Grand Junction,CO, his two children Logan Daniel & Acelyn Daniel of Grand Junction, CO, his mother Michelle Reyenger of Lynchburg, VA, his step father Greg Smith of Cedaredge, CO, and his two sisters Felicia Patterson of 29 Palms, CA and Katrina Calhoun of Cedaredge, CO. As well as many other family members and friends. Drew was preceeded in death by his step father-in- law, Barry Hicks, whom meant the world to him.
