Yvonne Bingham

Yvonne Bingham 77 of Grand Junction Colorado passed away August 19, 2017 at home of natural causes

Yvonne was born January 21, 1940 to Herbert and Chelsie Back in Sunman Indiana.

Yvonne graduated from Milan High school in Milan Indiana

According to her family and friends Yvonne became a world class cook.   Everything she cooked was good. She also helped her parents build a donut shop in Indiana and later started 2 of her own, Raggedy Ann donuts and Sugar & Spice. During her career she worked at Fur's Cafeteria, and Mesa View retirement.

She was one of the first cook's for Life Academy Christian school in Grand Junction. No one left her Cafeteria hungry.

Yvonne taught Sunday school for toddler age through youth age during her teaching years from 1970-2012.

She was a devout Christian that never passed up the opportunity to help others.  She believed and lived the Proverbs 23 woman. Her and her husband Bill took several families into their home through the years and helped them with a fresh start with life. She never passed up the chance to make a difference. She was dedicated to her God, family, friends, and church

She was preceded in death by her father - Herbert Back, mother- Chelsie Back, brother-Delmas Back, sister-Geneva Pringle, grandson-Brent White

She is survived by husband- Bill Bingham, daughter Gail (Wes) White Grand Junction, son - Jimmy (Alba) Bingham Grand Junction, 8 grand children, 4 great grand children

Memorial Services will Saturday, August 26, 2017, 2:00 PM at Life Tabernacles, 636 29 Road, Grand Junction, Co
